When I clicked on a link to a website a bunch of apparent MS Spyware Virus search website came up stating I had been hit by a virus. I was alerted immediately that it is false and to not hit OK as it is phishing for info OR will actually give you the virus….
I have multiple anti-spyware programs but only adaware SE by lavasoft and won’t download and install the update successfully. What is preventing me from downloading and installing the updates?

I have recently installed ESET NOD32 Smart Security and wonder which anti-spyware/spyware removers would work greatly with it. Malwarebytes work great with it but I’m wondering if any other ones work great with it. I realize that ESET has their own personal one but I always want a backup in case it misses something. (I am disapointed that spyware doctor doesn’t work with it because I am a big fan of spyware doctor).

I need a good spyware/adware cleaner, but I use Avast, so it has to work well with that. I’ver heard Adaware and Spybot are good, but are they the best?
is there any place i can get a free download of a spyware remover. i downloaded spybot: search and destroy but that didnt find the tojan i have on my computer. I also downloaded spy sweeper and that found the trojan but unless you pay for it you cant delete it. i need help fast.
